Thank You Volunteers!

As the Forste home nears completion we thank the individuals, the organizations, the groups and the companies that have volunteered their time, their labor and their money to build a home for a family that most of them do not know.  You are not only building a home, but you are building a community of caring.  We thank all of you!!

The largest Habitat build in Porter County has begun! The Forste family of 10 never thought they would be able to own their own home. You can help us give the Forste children a sustainable home to learn and grow!

Thoughtful Hands Build Wonderful Homes

The Forste home is nearing completion with cabinets installed most of the flooring in place and much of the interior work done.  An August completion date is looking realistic.  The driveway pour took place early in the morning and was complete before the rain came.  Our thanks to the volunteers who finished and then protected it from the rain.
