Jezenia

Jezenia is a single mother and grandmother, and a Valparaiso resident. She lived in the same apartment complex for over 20 years, raising her children and now assisting with her grandchildren. She faced many safety concerns including attempted break-ins and vandalism. Her apartment flooded multiple times with poor resolution of the damage.

Jezenia worked hard to establish financial stability while raising her children. She completed over 250 required sweat equity hours volunteering on her home and other Habitat Homes, and graduated from Financial Peace University. She has been making her new Habitat house into a home since December of 2024. We are so proud of all her hard work and dedication to become a homeowner!
